Adam M. Wolk is a passionate advocate who works tirelessly on behalf of his clients. Known for his relentless preparation, Adam takes pride in his work, often dedicating days, nights, and weekends to ensuring he is fully prepared for trial.
Adam began his legal career in public service as an Assistant District Attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. In that role, he managed a long-term narcotics wiretap investigation that resulted in a 32-defendant, 300-count conspiracy indictment. He also prosecuted more than 1,000 criminal cases in New York State Supreme Court and Criminal Court. During his time at the DA’s Office, Adam remained deeply committed to his community, volunteering as a mentor at the Brooklyn Eagle Academy for Young Men and coaching local public school moot court teams.
After leaving the DA’s Office, Adam transitioned to civil litigation, initially representing defendants, where he quickly gained extensive trial experience and secured more than 10 jury verdicts in just one year. He later joined the plaintiffs’ bar, where he continued to build a strong record of success advocating for individuals and families.
Over the course of his career, Adam has selected more than 40 juries and secured more than 25 verdicts. Some of his notable results include a $2 million asbestos verdict in Lockport, New York (2022), a $3.175 million verdict in Kings County Civil Court (May 2023) for a trip-and-fall case involving a lumbar percutaneous discectomy, and a $1.7 million verdict in New York County (December 2025) for a trip-and-fall case involving a fractured humerus and shoulder arthroscopic surgery.
Prior to attending law school, Adam worked in film and television production in New York City, and later as a fisherman and taxi driver in Montauk, New York. He earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and his law degree from New York Law School.
Adam was born in New York City and lived there until age 10, when he moved to Maryland. He now resides in Weehawken, New Jersey, with his wife, Alex, their son Benji, twin boys Maxwell and Grayson, and their dog, Kevin.
